Kinetic Creature: Running Elephant

This is a procedural modeling & animation project I create in Houdini. The mechanism is based on Theo Jansen’s Strandbeest. The moving of the elephant cardboard is controled by a series of expression. I make a loop running animation by using sin function. Render in Mantra and composite in Nuke.
